Biography of Host

The host has worked for well-known digital agencies, where he developed the digital supply chain platform strategy for one of the largest public-traded distributors of steel and metal products. He been a self-employed management consultant, where he helped German, British and American SMEs define their goto-market strategy for their respective target markets.

    • helped clients conduct hundreds of explorative customer interviews throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia to generate new ideas for products and services.
    • runs various user-centric workshops, ranging C-Level and senior executives to shop-floor employees, as wells as coaching them on various topics such as creating, testing and validating prototypes.
    • helps SMEs setup and structure their innovation units.

[00:00:51] To speak about these topics because, Hey, I'd want to know. And finally what you said, I should not expect from this podcast. So without further ado, let's get [00:01:00] cracking. So do you address the first question? What this podcast is all about and what you should expect from this podcast? for one, it will be a weekly or biweekly podcast format where I interviewed your guests from various industries, discuss their successes and.

[00:01:14] Even failures and the lessons they've learned along the way. So you, as a listener can profit from them, try to reveal how they stayed ahead of the competition and how they continued to innovate within very competitive or even old fashioned industries. And I'll also share some of my practical experience and how the best harness, the creativity of all your employees and how to grow from idea to product or even service within a very short amount of time.

[00:01:39] Oh, engaging all of your employees. And due to the extensive experience I've had within the innovation space, ranging from small to even global projects. Some of them, even less public listed companies, I've seen quite a few trends come and go. And therefore, I tend to take a very honest and sometimes.

[00:01:57] Brutal, no bullshit assessment on many of the topics that [00:02:00] we will discuss on this podcast. And I believe that anything less would be a huge disservice to my listeners. I simply don't care. What's popular, hot or trending. And neither should you. All I care about is does it work and is it effective at meeting the objectives that your company has?

[00:02:16] So now that I've told you some of the things that you can should expect from this podcast, let me tell you a little bit about myself and what qualifies me as a host to speak about these topics. for one, I've worked for a well known digital agencies where I, for instance, developed the digital platform strategy for the CEO of one of the largest public traded steel distributors.

[00:02:35] And I've also been a self-employed management consultant where I've helped SMEs define their go to market strategy for their respective markets. Handed gamma digital and beyond. I managed large innovation projects for clients where I often lead teams of innovation experts to help our clients conduct hundreds of explorative customer interviews throughout the U S Europe and even Asia to generate new ideas for products and [00:03:00] services.

[00:03:00] I run various user centric workshops ranging from sea level to senior executive all the way down to shop floor employees. as well as coaching them on various topics, such as creating and testing their idea with prototypes or SMEs setup and structure their innovation units. And in all these project, I've experienced firsthand.

[00:03:19] I've seen what works and what doesn't, where small, medium, and even large enterprises struggled the most and how to best accelerate incubate and. Scaled these ideas within these corporate environments, I've also witnessed how clients of consulting companies and digital agencies were overcharged and over serviced artificially inflating their budget.

[00:03:40] And as such, I won't shy away from exposing these dirty little secrets of our own industry and share some of these with us. Our listeners. Okay. Now that I've explained what you can and should expect from this podcast. Let me tell you what you should not expect from this podcast. Even though this podcast will be primarily in English.

[00:03:57] Occasionally I will publish episodes in German. If the [00:04:00] topic is geared towards our German listeners, or if. Our interview guest feels more comfortable speaking in German. So some of the podcast episodes will be in a language you might or might not understand. But again, we'll try to keep the majority of the episodes in English.

[00:04:14] Also don't expect 10 to 15 minute episodes where I give you bite sized information. That's just. Now how we roll at gamma. We like to go deep and get to the core of any given topic or guest. And if you want to feel good podcast that leaves out the uncomfortable detail hard truth, then you're definitely in the wrong place.
